Affiliate Disclosure
I use affiliate links on this site. There are some products I use on a regular basis, and I recommend those products to my readers, clients and students.
If you click on a link to any of these products, I may earn a commission if you buy something. This doesn’t mean you’ll pay a different price. You pay the same amount whether you use my affiliate link or not.
Furthermore, twenty percent of all proceeds I generate from affiliate commissions go to support the NVAccess Foundation, which develops and maintains a free screen reader for the blind.
Here are the products I affiliate with. Any links on this site to any of these products is likely an affiliate link.
Gravity Forms
WP Engine
For hosting, I use WP Engine. They watch over WordPress so I don’t have to. That includes all updates, site performance, security monitoring, and they’ll clean my site up for free if it gets hacked thanks to their partnership with Sucuri.
StudioPress
StudioPress is the company behind the Genesis framework. I use Genesis because it’s a well-built framework, it’s easy to build on top of without my having to worry about drag-and-drop solutions that create a mess for me down the line, it’s compliant with current web standards, it focuses on security and performance to the extent possible with themes, and they are involved in the community that has formed around their producst. I also use their child themes, which you can find out about by clicking the above link.
Web Savvy Marketing
Web Savvy Marketing creates child themes for the Genesis framework. Their child themes are translation-ready and are built with specific markets in mind. They also include sample marketing text you can use while building your website and designing the content. I use them on client sites when the client is looking for a theme tailored to their niche.
